Ask Cindy!
You:
I think it would be fun to be a missionary in Zambia or some far-off place. What can I do to become a missionary?
CT:

Start right now! Being a missionary requires faith, courage, compassion, and most of all, love for Jesus. It’s not always easy to be a missionary.

What if you began to be a missionary today? Is it easy for you to stand up for the person in school who no one likes? Is it easy to say something nice about someone when your friends or people you admire are saying bad things about that person? Is it easy to always do right—to never swear or cheat?

Is it easy to bow your head in the school café and ask God to bless your food? You get the drift—being a missionary isn’t always easy whether God calls you to a far-away place or calls you to stand up for Him where you live.

There’s help, though! Every day spend some time reading in Scripture about God’s heroes, and then ask Him to give you courage just for that day to live for Jesus.
