Hello, my name is Abbie. I live in Arkansas, and I am a third grader.
When our school heard all about the people of Tlangsang, India from Pastor Hill, we just had to help.

We were going to help a small church that wanted to start a school. Pastor Hill showed us pictures of the people and told stories. Our project was to help them build a cafeteria. I felt like crying when I heard about these sweet people.

I love Jesus so much, and I get to share Him at school and every Sabbath. How lucky I am! To share Jesus is really cool!

Now we knew about the project, and everyone had great ideas to raise money. We collected money in the offering plate at Sabbath School. My cousins Eddie, Sara, and I took it really serious as well as our class. Another idea was to give our spending money to India instead of using it for treats or toys. Our school did a magazine fundraiser, too. We prayed for our new India friends everyday and for the future school.

After the deadline to raise the money came, the reward was awesome. Our school principal, Mr. Burton, let us tape him to the wall of our school gym. We laughed very hard.

The new cafeteria is FINISHED now. I think we raised more than $5,000 dollars. Pastor Hill gave all of us a picture of the new cafeteria. It made us so happy. THE CAFETERIA IS NOT FANCY, BUT EVERYONE LIKES IT. The picture had the people in it. That was worth all the hard work just to see their smiling faces. They were in front of their cafeteria. Wow!

P.S.
I would like to
thank all those who helped
us reach this goal. My mom and dad say,
"If you do something kind, the kindness will be
returned."
