Friends
Some friends like flowers will soon fade away.
Some will say, "Not today. How about another day?"
Others their angry words will not hold at bay.
While still others in demise and cruelty lay,
for some timid soul to slay.
Other friends are here to stay.
To help us along the way,
And to hold us up in prayer from day to day.
But there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother,
Who will not leave you for another.
Who will always say, "You're not a bother."
For you see He's our Heavenly Father! |
